Hero Quest

The BraveRO Hero Quest is a unique quest in bRO that allows your character to have additional stats and skill points after reaching level 500. It's like rebirthing your character once again. It also gives you the ability to wear stronger rank weapons and equipment.

If you have acquired a Royal Hero Scroll from seasonal events or from other players, you can use it to instantly become a Hero! Just bring it to Sigmund (ayo_in02 100 165) and he'll turn you into a Hero. This scroll basically replaces all the item requirements.

1. Go to ayo_in02 100 165. Talk to Sigmund.
   
2. He will give you the item requirements.
   
3. After obtaining all of the required items, go back to Sigmund. Talk to him and he will rebirth you to a Hero Class.
   
4. After being rebirthed, you will go back to level 1 and be given the following benefits:
   1. +2500 stat points
   2. +108 skill points
   3. 1 Hero Aura ( 3 x 3 splash. 3% atk and matk) lower headgear

Item Hunting Guide

Among those requirements the hardest to obtain are the following.

• 1 Draconus Scale.
• 10 pcs Biotites.
• 100 Warrior Skulls. (This is also called PVP Skulls not the skulls from monsters).
• 10 pcs of each Fragment.

Biotites
It is recommended to buy the 10 pcs Biotites unless you are willing to wait for a Mysteltainn to respawn. You can find Mysteltainn in the following maps:

• alde_dun04 = 60 to 90 minutes respawn time
  
• gefenia01 = 180 to 300 minutes respawn time
  
• gefenia02 to 04 = 300 to 540 minutes respawn time
  
• gl_cas02 = 120 to 180 minutes respawn time
  
• gl_knt02 = 30 to 50 minutes respawn time
  

For most cases, it is faster to farm Zeny to buy Biotites than wait for those Mysteltainn to respawn.
You can also use Dead Branch and wish for your luck that a Mysteltainn will be summoned from it.


Warrior Skulls
Same with Biotites, it is much better to buy it from players rather than hunting for them. The usual cost is 1m to 2m each. Also it's dropped by all monsters in lhz_dun03 (3% chance)
Note: Warrior Skull description is "A skull in which someone's name has been curved" and has an item ID of 7420.


Fragment of Despair, Hatred, Agony, and Misery
Thanatos Fragment are tradable, thus they can be bought from players. The best location for hunting the fragments are in tha_t05, tha_t06, tha_t07 and tha_t08. In those locations, Thanatos minions respawn instantly after they are killed. Note that on other maps, there are fake Thanatos minions that doesn't drop the fragments. You can also use Dead Branch to summon those Thanatos minions through luck.


Draconus Scale
Draconus scale is a drop from a custom MVP in bRO. Do note that the scale is character bound, thus it cannot be traded, or stored in your cart or storage. Make sure to hunt and loot it with the character that you wish to turn into a Hero. Draconus is an MVP that looks like a golden Detale but way stronger.

There are 2 types of Draconus: The Easy one and the Hard one. Both of them drops the scale.

• The Hard one can be found in mag_dun02 (mag_dun01 241 241). It has an estimated respawn time of 3 hours. Some veteran players love hunting this one because of its card. You can ask them to simply give you the scale.
• The Easy one can be found in Hero Temple. You need to talk to the Young Lady [ayo_in02 92 172] and pay 1 billion zeny for unlimited access to an instance that holds the weaker Draconus. She will warp you to the weaker version of Draconus once you fulfilled the requirements that she asks. You will need to be in a party to enter this weaker Draconus' instance. However, you must be the only member of your party. Note: The Easy Draconus is not very weak. Just way weaker than the one in mag_dun02.
  

Part II: Crafting your Glorious Equipments

After becoming a hero talk to Sigmund again, he will mention the blacksmith Regin at Einbroch.

Warp to [ein_in01 28 85] and talk to Regin, he will take the rest of the Hero Quest items.

He will tell you to wait for him to create the items. You must wait 2 hours ONLINE in order for him to finish.

Or simply just exit, re-enter the room, and speak to Regin several times until he gives you those equipments.

Part III: Ranking Your Hero Character

All new heroes will start at Rank D. Here are the ways to increase your Rank

1. Monster Arena.
2. PVP.
3. Caspen Dungeon.
4. Bossnia Dungeon
5. Trial of Glory.
6. Corrupt Hero Trainer

Monster Arena

Monster Arena is the fastest way to rank your hero. It is a map full of monsters and you only need to kill them repeatedly.

To access Monster Arena you need to finish first the Heavenly Flower Quest.

Go to (lighthalzen 40 240) and talk to the NPC named Heimer. He will ask you to find an item called Heavenly Flower.

The Heaven Flower can be found in [odin_tem03] in 3 possible random locations:

This is not a 100% drop rate. So if you don't get the Heaven Flower on the first time, you need to reset back to Heimer and start again.

Note: When you click the flower two LK's will spawn. Kill them as fast as you can to obtain the flower.

Once you've successfully returned to Heimer with the Heavenly Flower, the quest is now complete. If he mentions something about getting 200 Honor Kills, just disregard this part and go directly to Reginleif (ayo_in02 105 168). Talk to her, choose Raise Ranking, and then select Warp to Monster Arena.

Ranking in WEAPONS/PVP/WoE

You can also obtain hero experience by killing players in PVP arena and WoE.

Not the fastest way to rank up, unless you have a guild or group of friends who knows nothing but to PvP everyday.

Caspen Dungeon

Caspen Dungeon is a customized bRO dungeon. Each monster kill gives you hero experience too.

It is not an average dungeon even for veteran players since the monsters deal high damage. The Soul Taker monster is found here. It has a chance of dropping Emblem of the Sun God (usually used during the Rank B Weapon Quest; it is also required for the elite stone Dawn Essence, and as part of the Combat Mission Requirements)

Bossina Dungeon

Bossnia Dungeon is a customized bRO dungeon. Each monster kill gives you hero experience too.

The monsters here also drop the Red, Blue, and Yellow Charms. These Charms have various uses like catalysts for summoning Addax (a very tough boss monster) and crafting Fused MVP Cards. Take note that monsters inside Bossnia deal high damage. It is highly advised to use water property attacks and skills in this dungeon.

Trials of Glory

Trial of Glory is an arena with 10 levels. Kill the monsters in each level in order to progress. It gives experience upon finishing each level. It also gives additional EXP for completing it. You can access this by talking to the Trials of Glory NPC (ayo_in02 95 168).

TIPS:

• Since the monsters have varying elemental attributes, it's highly recommended to bring Elemental Converters (Wind/Water/Fire/Earth) and Cursed Water (for Shadow).
• If you don't have any access to Ghost element skills or you can't enchant your weapon into ghost property, you can instead use other elements, though the damage may be lower.
• For healing HP, you need not worry since you can bring and use Yggdrasil Berries and Mastela Fruits.
• If you're using a class that has elemental arrows/bullets, or skills that have varying elements, make full use of those.
• Using wide area of effect skills are recommended (e.g. Meteor Storm, Storm Gust, Lord of Vermillion).
• If your class doesn't have any area of effect skills, make use of your class' most damaging skill (e.g. Esma, Bowling Bash, Rolling Cutter, Double Strafe).

Corrupt Hero Trainer

Corrupt Hero Trainer resides inside the Hero Temple, and he's willing to help you earn Hero EXP at a much faster rate. Give him one of the following, and he will give your hero character 10,000,000 Hero EXP.

• 6x 1B Zeny Bags
• 1x 10M Hero Exp Scroll

Take note that if you've reached a certain rank using this method (e.g. Rank C), you won't instantly be set to that rank. To remedy this, you'll need to acquire at least 1 Hero EXP the normal way. The fastest way to do this is to enter a map where monsters give Hero EXP and kill just one.
