BraveRO Installation Guide

Welcome to the official **BraveRO Installation Guide**. This page will walk you through how to download, install, configure, and troubleshoot the BraveRO Ragnarok Online private server client.

BraveRO is a **high-rate Ragnarok Online private server** featuring fast progression, active Battlegrounds, custom Hero systems, and continuous updates since 2008.

System Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11
• RAM: 4 GB
• Storage: 10 GB free disk space
• Internet: Stable broadband connection
• Graphics: DirectX 9 compatible

Recommended

• Windows 11 (64-bit)
• 8 GB RAM or more
• SSD storage
• Dedicated GPU

Account Registration

You must have a BraveRO account to access downloads and play.

1. Visit the BraveRO Control Panel
2. Register a game account
3. Log in using your username and password

Note: The download page is only visible to logged-in users.

Downloading BraveRO (Full Installer)

The **BraveRO Full Installer** is the recommended option for all new players.

Available Download Providers

Choose one provider to download the **BraveRO Full Client (.zip)**:

• MediaFire
• MEGA
• Direct Download (Slow)

Installation Steps

Step 1 – Download

1. Download the BraveRO Full Client ZIP file.
2. Save it to your Desktop.

Step 2 – Extract

1. Right-click the ZIP file.
2. Select **Extract All**.
3. A new folder named **BraveRO** will be created on your Desktop automatically.

Step 3 – Update

1. Open the **BraveRO** folder.
2. Double-click **BraveRO Patcher.exe**.
3. Allow it through your firewall if prompted.
4. Wait until all updates and fixes are downloaded.

Do not close the patcher early.

Step 4 – Configure

1. Inside the BraveRO folder, run **Setup.exe**.
2. Configure your resolution and graphics settings.
3. Save and close.

Step 5 – Launch the Game

1. Run **BraveRO.exe**.
2. Log in with your BraveRO account.
3. Create your character and begin your adventure.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues during installation or gameplay, follow the steps below.

Can't Connect to Server

• Run **BraveRO Patcher.exe** and allow it to fully update.
• Check your firewall and antivirus and ensure BraveRO is not blocked.
• Verify your internet connection (Wi-Fi users may experience instability).

Game Crashing

• Run **BraveRO Patcher.exe** to download missing updates.
• Remove any custom GRF files or third-party modifications.
• Re-download and reinstall the BraveRO Full Client if needed.

Configuration Changes Not Saving

1. Right-click **Setup.exe**.
2. Select **Properties**.
3. Go to **Compatibility**.
4. Enable **Run as Administrator**.

In-Game Settings Not Retaining

1. Right-click **BraveRO.exe**.
2. Select **Properties**.
3. Go to **Compatibility**.
4. Enable **Run as Administrator**.

Recommended Settings

• Use **Borderless Window Mode** for smoother alt-tabbing.
• Lower visual effects if you experience FPS drops in towns.
• Always patch before logging in.

Updates

BraveRO updates automatically through the patcher. Always run the patcher before playing to ensure compatibility with the latest server updates.
