Isn't it wonderful to have a faithful companion accompany you in your journeys? You can choose from a wide selection of pets with various effects and looks to suit your needs and wants! Just remember to feed them well. You can tell that your pet is hungry if the bar below them turns red. It usually takes only one feeding to immediately make their hunger status into either Satisfied or Stuffed.

Your pet will run away from you if you starve or overfeed them. Once they run away from you, there's no way of ever bringing them back. You will know that your pet already ran away if they're no longer following your character, and their pet egg doesn't return to the inventory even if you can still access the Pet Window (ALT+ J). Take note of the following to avoid this:

  • If you plan to go AFK for an extended period of time, don't leave your pet out. Revert them to their egg form.
  • Once your pet reaches Very Hungry Hunger status, their intimacy points will start dropping.
    • Pets with high intimacy levels (Cordial, and Loyal) can somehow get away with being left starving for some time, since it will take a while before their intimacy levels drop to extremely low levels.
    • Pets with low intimacy levels (Awkward, and Shy) have a good chance having their intimacy points dropping if you left them starving.
  • Regardless of intimacy level, if you continue feeding your pet even after its hunger status is already Stuffed, there's a good chance that it could run away.
    • If you overfeed them they will start showing the /pif emote.
    • If you continue ovefeeding them, they will eventually show the /omg emote. At this point there's a good chance that they'd run away already.
    • If you still continue to overfeed your pet even after they already showed the /omg emote, they will run away.


In order to benefit from a pet's effects, you must raise its intimacy to Loyal. You can do this normally by feeding your pet the appropriate food whenever its hunger bar goes red. If you have Vote Tokens, you can avail of the Pet Trainer's services in Prontera in order to instantly increase your pet's intimacy points. Take note that there's no way to tell your pet's exact intimacy points. There's only the following intimacy indicators:
