Overview

Are you tired of no tank line up team in battlegrounds? Are you tired of your scared tank that runs back? Are you tired of getting obliterated by auto sonic blows? Well look no further as I am about to teach you the ultimate AB tank build!


Recommended Stats

STR: 150-200 (enough for carrying items.)

AGI: 195 ASPD

VIT: Balanced Def (50 soft def)

INT: 500 (max healing prowess)

DEX: 170 (for instant cast. I add 20 more so I still have instant cast even under quagmire)

LUK: REST (perfect dodge and extra stats)


Recommended Build

Top Headgear

  • +0/+10 Noble Hat or any with the same effect

Effect: Reduces damage received by demihumans by 25%. Increases Heal and Sanctuary skill effectiveness by 200%. +Priest Class: Increases to 500%

Card 1 - Gemini-S58 Card - 30% Stun and Silence resistance if base AGI>=90. 50% Stone Curse and Sleep if base VIT>=80.


Middle Headgear

  • Clear Wings or any with the same effect

Effect: Reduces skill delay by 45%

• Card - Kiel Card - reduces after skill delay by 30%


Lower Headgear

  • Northern Elf Aura or any with the same effect

Effect: Adds Resistance to Freeze and Silence. +60% movement speed

• Card - Gemini-S58 Card - 30% Stun and Silence resistance if base AGI>=90. 50% Stone Curse and Sleep if base VIT>=80.

  • Dark Chakra or any with the same effect

Effect: Adds Resistance to Freeze and Silence. +10% Max HP

• Card - Gemini-S58 Card - 30% Stun and Silence resistance if base AGI>=90. 50% Stone Curse and Sleep if base VIT>=80.


Armor

  • +8/+10 Mathael's Holy Nova Armor

Effect: Holy Property armor. +20% more damage with dark elements. If refine rate >=8, Unbreakable.

• Card - Venerable Seyren Card - Reduces 10% of damage received from Boss Monsters. Reflect 30% of the physical damage received back to the enemy who inflicted it.

  • +8/+10 Any Unbreakable Armor

Effect: Varies

• Card - Fused Ghostring Card - Enchants armor with Ghost property. Max HP +10%. Reflects 5% of physical damage back to the enemy. +Super Novice: Enables use of Energy Coat skill


Weapon

  • Dominance

Effect: DEX +10, INT +15. +8-9-10% HP. Decrease DEF to 1/3 (spike effect). Increases effect of heal skills by 65-70-75%. 1% silencing or cursing the enemy when being attacked & increases effectiveness of healing skills on self by 10%. MATK +450. [Level 4 Effect] Adds a 35% chance to autocast dispel on the enemy when using Holy Light

• Card 1 - 3 Obsessive Margaretha Cards - Increases effectiveness of Heal by 3%. Increases damage of Holy Light and Judex by 10%. INT +8. (9%-30%-24)

• Card 2 - 1 Valkyrie Randgris Card - ATK +10%. Makes weapon unbreakable. Adds chance of auto-casting lvl 1 Dispel when attacking.


Shield

  • +8/+10 Obelisk Shield

Effect: Adds 10% resistance to wind and earth elements. MDEF +3. if refine rate >=8, Reflects 7% of all physical damage back to enemy. cannot be stripped. [Obelisk Combo: Enables user to see hidden enemies. +60% movement speed. Reduce after skill delay by 5%]

Card: Hades Card - Reduces damage received from demihumans by 30%. Reduces Neutral property damage received by 10%. If refine rate>=8, Reflects 10% of physical damage received.

  • +8/+10 Keeper's Shield

Effect: Adds 10% resistance to Fire, Water, and Holy elements. MDEF +3. if refine rate >=8, Reflects 5% of all physical damage back to enemy. cannot be stripped. [Keeper's Set: +60% movement speed. All Stats +10]

Card: Hades Card - Reduces damage received from demihumans by 30%. Reduces Neutral property damage received by 10%. If refine rate>=8, Reflects 10% of physical damage received.


Garment

  • +8/+10 Combat Asprika

Effect: Increase resistance to all elements by 10%. Reduces def rate per refine. MDEF +5

• Card - Malevolent Shadow Card - Reduces Neutral property damage received by 20%. Flee +100. Perfect Dodge +5. if Refine Rate>=8, reflects 10% of physical damage received back to the enemy who inflicted it.

  • Asprika

Effect: 30% resistance to all elements


Shoes

  • Supersonic Boots

Effect: Non-Slotted, +25% HP/SP, Additional movement speed +15% (Stacks), Increases resistance against Stone Curse, Curse and Stun by 50%. (If +8, Increases magic damage to demi-humans by 5%)


Accessories

  • 2 Copper Rosary

Effect: +10 VIT, +5% HP, -5% delay, slotted.

• Card 1 - Gem of Reflect - Reflects 5% of Melee Damage

• Card 2 - Gem of Healing - Increases effectiveness of Heal and Sanctuary by 30%


Pet

  • Hateful Egg or any with the same effect

Effect: All Stat +30


Calculations

  • 100% Resistance to Stun, Sleep, Stone Curse, Freeze, and Silence
  • 60-62% of Melee damage will be reflected back. 40-42% if you switch to FGRc
  • 35% magical damage reduction with Combat Asprika. 55% magical damage reduction with Asprika. +10% on some elements based on equipped shield.


Notes

  • Asprika and Holy Armor will greatly reduce Magical damage you receive. Pair it with Undead Scrolls, right use of Elemental potions, and non-stop self heal, it would be pretty much impossible to kill you even with 3 WL ganging you.
  • This build is generally for fights without SC. If there's one, use anti-strip aura + GOHc and Spiritual Tunic for anti Freeze and boost on almost every element. Be wary of Genetics too as they can break your Spiritual Tunic.
  • Use FGRc when theres Suras and Genetics.
  • Prioritize using Pneuma on self to deny long range damage and let Taekwons and GX autosonic blow you. Spam heal on self and watch them die from reflect.
