Novice Survival Event

Overview

The Novice Survival Event is a last-player-standing survival challenge where participants are sent into a special arena and must stay alive while dangerous monsters continue to appear.

The objective is simple:

  • Enter the event before registration closes
  • Avoid the monsters for as long as possible
  • Be the last survivor remaining

Schedule

The event runs automatically at the following server times:

  • 02:00
  • 13:00
  • 19:00

How To Join

When the event is announced:

  • Go to Prontera 156,172
  • Enter the portal before it closes
  • Wait inside the event map for the event briefing to finish

If there are not enough participants, the event will not start.

Requirements

According to the event information shown to players:

  • You should use a Novice
  • Your character should be under Level 50
  • Your weight must be 0

Objective

Survive longer than every other player in the arena.

You do not need to defeat all enemies by yourself. Your goal is to stay alive while the event continues until only one player remains.

Event Flow

1. Registration Phase

Global announcements open the event portal in Prontera.

During this phase:

  • Players have 4 minutes to join
  • Several reminder announcements are made before the portal closes
  • Once registration ends, the portal is disabled

2. Briefing Phase

After registration closes, players inside the map receive the rules:

  • Murder Porings will begin spawning
  • A new one appears every 5 seconds
  • They are dangerous and will attack players
  • You may run, hide, lure, or avoid them
  • The last player alive wins

3. Survival Phase

Once the event begins:

  • Murder Porings spawn continuously
  • New monsters keep appearing every few seconds
  • Players must keep moving and avoid being killed
  • The number of survivors is announced as the event goes on

4. End Phase

The event ends when only one player remains alive.

At that point:

  • All remaining Murder Porings are removed
  • The last surviving player is declared the winner
  • The winner can claim the event reward

How You Lose

You lose if your character dies during the event.

If you are killed:

  • You are removed from the event
  • You are sent back out of the arena
  • You must wait until the next round to try again

Rewards

The winner receives:

  • 5 Billion Zeny
  • Additional event rewards
