Dual Client Policy
BraveRO allows players to open unlimited clients as long as their computer can handle it. This is a convenience feature for trading, vending, buffing, or managing multiple characters — but it comes with strict rules to prevent abuse.
What Is Allowed
- You may open as many clients as you want on the same computer.
- You may use them for:
- Vending or buying shops.
- Personal storage, guild management, or buff slaves.
- Farming on separate characters as long as it does NOT involve event zones or restricted content.
What Is NOT Allowed
- No dual clienting in events – This includes automated events, PvP events, seasonal events, and anything that provides rewards.
- No dual clienting in Battlegrounds – Using extra clients for leeching, queuing manipulation, or free kills is strictly forbidden.
- No abuse of bugs, NPCs, or scripted systems – Any attempt to exploit rewards or mechanics using multiple clients will result in penalties.
- No bypassing device restrictions – Maps that enforce 1 client per device are off-limits for multi-client use.
How We Enforce It
To keep things fair, BraveRO uses Gepard Shield’s device identification and several internal tracking systems. We can detect multi-client abuse using:
- Device ID (Gepard protected)
- IP address
- Session patterns and data points
- Activity behavior on restricted maps
Many important maps and features are locked to one character per device. Trying to bypass these restrictions will be treated as intentional abuse.
Examples of Violations
- Joining Battlegrounds on two or more characters.
- Entering an event map with multiple clients for extra rewards.
- Using multiple clients to trigger NPC cooldowns or repeatable scripts faster.
- Parking alt accounts in mechanics that were designed to limit participation.
What Happens If You Break the Rules
- Immediate disqualification from events or BG queues.
- Temporary or permanent bans depending on severity.
- Account linking and device locking for repeat offenders.
Why This Policy Exists
- Prevents players from manipulating Battlegrounds or events.
- Stops reward abuse that harms the server’s economy.
- Keeps competitive content fair and balanced.
- Still allows the convenience of multiple clients where it doesn’t create problems.
In short: You may use unlimited clients, but not to cheat, exploit, manipulate events, or gain unfair advantages. If you’re unsure whether something is allowed, ask a GM before doing it.
