Rules may be stacked depending on the severity of your actions. This means the punishment will also increase varying on the amount of rules you broke.

The GM Team reserves the right to exact any form of punishment/s if they feel certain kinds of behavior/actions is abusive under the scope of the rules. The server also reserves the right to modify the rules without prior notice.

Players are advised to keep themselves informed of these rules as you play the game, and ignorance of the rules will not be entertained as an acceptable excuse for breaking them.

Friendly Reminders

Under no circumstance must you give your username and/or password to anyone. This includes all players, staff members, Support Players, and Game Masters. A real Game Master will not ask for your username or password. In the event that you did share your account information with someone, and that person takes items, deletes or drops items, trades/sells your items, and makes any other changes to your characters/accounts, do not ask a Game Master to replace your items or revert any changes that has been made to your character/account. Share your account at your own risk.

In the event that an account has been hacked and that the owner of the account has been found to share their account information, the GM team will take no responsibility and will be unable to take any further action once proven.

In the event that you decide to loan items, zeny, and/or equipment to someone, do so at your own risk. If the person you gave your item to decides to keep them, do not ask a GM to get them back for you.

Attempting to buy account bound items must be done so at your own risk. An example of this is buying Victory Badges. A common situation relating to this item is that players might want to buy or upgrade their battleground garment. Player A then advertises "B> 100 Victory Badges" in order to safely upgrade their garment twice. Player B, a seller, then comes and says that he has 100 Victory Badges. Player A then trades his battleground garment and/or the payment for the badges. At this point Player B may decide to keep the garment and/or payment and run away or to fully commit to their deal.

Whenever you are engaging in trades that exceed the 10-item limit per trade (e.g. Hero Quests items, large quantities of items/equipment), do so at your own risk. In the event that you have already traded your items and did not received the agreed payment within the same trade, do not ask a GM to replace or retrieve your items. However, if you wish to have a safer form of trading, use @request to request a staff member or GM (whichever is available) as the intermediary for the trade. Always remember to take screenshots of the deal.

POLICIES ON MACRO USE

Macros are command chains that can be created using a combination of keys or macro keys found on special keyboards or gaming mice. Hitting these keys executes a number of commands in a sequence that effectively saves a lot of time. Since we are all familiar with what macros are, how well does it apply in gaming? Because macros simplify information input, gamers may just push a button for a wide range of actions, which gamers refer to as macro keys. Certain 3rd party programs, a gaming mice, controllers and keyboards allow for a chain of actions to occur by hitting a single button. We do at this time allow for the use of macros, so long as the usage is within the limits of the allowed macro behavior as indicated below. In essence, we're allowing the usage of macros so long as its sole function is to assist the player. In the event that the macro is basically playing the game for you (e.g. Casting a skill and then immediately jumping afterwards; automated mining) that will be considered as stipulated in the illegal macro behaviors below. GMs or players may perform third party tests on players they suspect to be abusing macros or just plain botting. In either case, proper evidences must be acquired that clearly shows the behavior of the suspected player. Do note that automated responses will not cut it, and outright not responding to the GM or player investigating will only make things worse.

Allowed Macro Behavior

You can use macros to:

  • help you cast skills or chains of skills in PvM or PvP situations.

  • help you equip items or chains of items in PvM or PvP situations.

  • help you buff yourself or others in PvM or PvP situations.

  • automatically open gift boxes, use potions or any other usable item in PvM or PvP situations.

Illegal Macro Behavior

  • You cannot use macros to farm loot, mine or kill monsters automatically. Even if you are monitoring the macro, that will be considered botting.
    • 1st offense punishment: Permanent account ban.

    • 2nd offense punishment: Permanent account ban + 14 days computer/device ban.

    • 3rd offense punishment: All related account ban + permanent computer/device ban.

    • There are no exceptions unless not enough proper evidence is provided to support the claim.

  • You cannot use macros to spam the chat box with non skill-related messages or spam visual effects. (Skills that have a chat message are excluded, i.e. Frost joker)
    • Punished according to GM's discretion.

  • You cannot use macros to spam clicks on NPC such as healers, refiners or NPCs with visual effects.
    • 1st offense Punishment: 3 days account ban & computer/device ban.

    • 2nd offense Punishment: 7 days account ban & computer/device ban.

    • 3rd offense Punishment: Permanent account ban & computer/device ban.

  • You cannot share or recommend macros or 3rd party programs infected with malware, key loggers or viruses.
    • Punishment: Permanent computer ban and related account ban.
