Build Purpose:PVP build for beginners that tackles statuses and overall itemization

Stats

  • STR:250
  • AGI:200
  • VIT:200
  • INT:500
  • DEX:300
  • LUK:The rest of status points

Gears & Cards

Headgears

  • Top: Vanilla HG (Cranial + Cold heart) with +5% matk is a plus // OR Any HG with 35% Demi-Human reduction +5% MATK/ATK (Any 30% After-skill delay cards (Kiel Card / Emperium Card / Spica Card)):
  • Mid: Vanilla HG Low with Aqua Enchant // OR Any HG with (+60% MSPD, Immunity to Freeze and Silence status, +5% HP) Any Anti Stun Card (Glorified Orc Hero Card / Orc Hero Card)
  • Low: Vanilla HG with Excellion (-45% After-Cast Delay, +8% MATK/ATK Rate) or Any Magic Rare HG (-30% After-Cast Delay, +25% Magical Damage to Demi-Human) (Any 30% After-skill delay cards (Kiel Card / Emperium Card / Spica Card))

Armor

  • Body: +0/+10 Magnetite Armor (+10 Vit, Maximum HP +15%, Unbreakable, [Refine +8~10] Immune to Knock-back effect) − +0/+10 Juggernaut Armor (Maximum HP +120%, [Refine +8~10] Max HP + 150%) (Tao Gunka Card) (Maximum HP +100%, Reduces Hard def and Mdef by 50)

  • Shield: +0/+10 Valkyrie Shield (+20% Reduction damage to Water, Fire, Undead an Shadow element attack) (Thara Frog Card) (+30% Demi-Human Reduction) // (Hades Card) (+30% Demi-Human Reduction, +10% Neutral Property Reduction [Refine +8~10] +10% Physical Damage Reflect)

Garment

  • Cape/Back: Asprika (+30% Elemental Reduction) Best option of you do not have BG Garments
  • Cape/Back: +0/+10 Twisted Freya Garment LVL10 (+10% Elemental Damage Reduction, +20 def and mdef, +1% chance to "Stone Curse" Attacker, [LVL 10] +5% Elemental Resistance, +2% Demi-Human Reduction) (Cautious Howard Card) (+10% Long range Damage Reduction, +1% Elemental Resistance/refine rate of garment, +0.5% chance to inflict "Bleeding" to Attacker)

Shoes

  • Shoes: +0/+10 Sleipnir (+20% MSPD, +20% Maximum HP and SP, +15% SP Recovery, +10 Mdef) // or +8/+10 Mod Boots of Intelligence (+12% HP/SP, +10 Int, +2% Magic damage every 2 refine level, If Base int is atleast 350: -5% After-skill delay) (Fallen Bishop Card) (+10% MATK, -50% Maximum SP, +50% Magical Damage to Demi-Human and Angel Monsters)

Accessories

  • Accessory 1: Specialist Gloves (+25 Int, +5 Mdef, +3% Storm Gust Damage, +1% Maximum HP) (Scaraba Card) (+200 Matk, -1% Maximum HP)
  • Accessory 2: Adamite Pendant (+10 Int, +5 Dex, +3% Maximum HP, -5% After-skill delay) Gem of Pneuma

Skills

  • Ganbantein – Use it to remove ground spells like pneuma, lp and wall of fog // can also be used to remove traps from a distance
  • Sight / Sightrasher – Used mainly to remove traps easily and reveal enemy invisible
  • Meteor Storm – Used as your primary damage dealing skill
  • Bolts - Use bolt of choice for additional damage during combat
  • Quagmire/Lord of Vermillion – Use this to delay and slow enemies, very effective on chokepoints
  • Storm gusts – Use this to reveal enemies and as an additional damage combo

Tips & Tricks

  • Using ganbantein every time is very crucial if playing as a support in your team / party
  • Always use Box of sunlight to avoid sneaky attacks from sura/gx as warlocks are squishy
  • Use invisible to avoid being targeted by single target skills

Matchups & Counters

Matchup Difficulty Strategy
vs RK/GX Medium Always maintain distance and use AOE skills to slow and delay them then finish them up with bolts
vs Sorcerer Hard Sorc counters your aoe skills and forces you to a bolt battle but you are at a disadvantage. maintain distance with stormgusts and quagmire, Find allies to help you kill the enemy sorc and support them with ganbantein to remove their ground spells

Closing Thoughts

Get BG garments to have switching varieties to counter enemy elements

Use asprika as your main garment if you still dont have high refine BG garments

Get Anti status equipments for Stone curse/Sleep/Stun
