There are two types of Vanilla Headgears: Normal, and Epic. The way they currently are able to obtain enchants is a bit different from one another. So, here's a table to differentiate them.

Things to take note of:

  • For Upper Headgears, the enchants for Base, Secondary, and Epic can all be obtained. You can only choose the Base enchant for upper headgears, while the Secondary and Epic enchants are given at random.
  • In the future, when Bonus Normal Enchants will be obtainable, they can only be enchanted onto your Middle or Lower Headgears if they have the Normal Enchants. You cannot add a Bonus Normal Enchant to a Middle or Lower Headgear that has an Epic Enchant.
  • Enchanting a Vanilla Upper Headgear for its Secondary and Epic enchants has a chance of failing.
  • Enchanting Vanilla Middle and Lower Headgear doesn't have a chance of failing.
  • Enchanting an Vanilla Upper Headgear that already has enchants will overwrite whatever enchant it has for the slot that you're enchanting. For example, if your Vanilla Upper Headgear has a Refuge enchant for its secondary enchant, re-enchanting the secondary enchant will replace the Refuge with a new/same enchant. Any Base and/or Epic enchants that your headgear may have will not be removed/affected, unless of course if the enchanting process fails.
  • If you wish to instead obtain a Normal Enchant + Bonus Normal Enchant for your Epic Vanilla Lower Headgear while it currently has an Epic Enchant, you must first overwrite the Epic Enchant by enchanting the headgear with a Normal Enchant. Afterwards, you can proceed to add a Bonus Normal Enchant.
  • If you wish to instead obtain an Epic Enchant for your Epic Vanilla Lower Headgear while it currently has a Normal Enchant + Bonus Normal Enchant, you can simply overwrite the current enchant by enchanting the Epic Enchant onto the headgear
  • Forced Enchanting always gives a random enchant.
  • During Seasonal Events, a Seasonal Vanilla Enchanter may be made available. Depending on the event, the enchanter may provide FREE enchanting services if your vanilla hasn't received any enchantments for a particular slot. WHERE TO ENCHANT

At the moment, the only permanent way of enchanting Vanilla Headgears is by using items obtained inside the Guild Raid, and Guild Instanced Dungeon. Take note that the Vanilla Enchanter in prt_gld cannot enchant seasonal event vanillas. Although Seasonal Events may offer opportunities to enchant Vanilla Headgears using specific seasonal event items.
