Christmas Event 2023 [Ended]

Step once again into a world of snow and memories! Welcome to BraveRO's Christmas Event 2023! Embrace the magic of this season with us as we transform our realm into a snowy place filled with wondrous events, quests, surprises, and hidden treasures waiting to be discovered!

• Christmas Event 2023 will end on January 14, 2024
  
• All Christmas Event NPCs will be removed on January 15, 2024
  
• The Wonderland Memoria Compendium Event will end on January 31, 2024
  

Acquire your Winter Wonderland headgears and weapon by talking to the Midgard Dragon Knight at caspen 174 215. You can only significantly damage the monsters infesting Christmas City by using these special equipment. If you have gathered enough Naughty and Nice Jellies, you can upgrade your Armament Weapon via the Divine Upgrader at xmas_city 164 194 to grant it additional damage and effects.

Welcome this season's compendium! Talk to Ascilla in xmas_city 154 196 to get your compendium book. You can do various activities in order to acquire Compendium EXP and Crystals. 

Each compendium level has base rewards that you can automatically get once you reach that level. There also are bonus rewards that can only be accessed by having Memoria Crystal Keys. These keys can be acquired via participating in Battlegrounds and doing Compendium Daily Quests.

Compendium Daily Quests can be accessed by opening your compendium book. It will basically task you with killing 200x monsters found inside Christmas City. Once you killed the required amount of monsters, open again your compendium book and access the daily quest option. You will be rewarded with 1x Memoria Crystal Key, 250 Compendium EXP, some zeny, and other stuffs. Take note that you can only do this quest once per server day and that the key acquired is account bound.

Compendium currently only has 50 Levels.

To earn Naughty and Nice Jellies, and Compendium EXP, you can do the following activities below:

Every 3 hours, hunting races will begin inside Christmas City!

RACE #1

For 30 minutes, you will be tasked with killing monsters with the Mischievous, Naughty, and Playful prefixes. These new monsters will spawn for the duration of the race and killing them will give 1~3 Hunting Point. A random global buff will also be active during this time. The top 3 hunters will get extra rewards after the race. These monsters will also reward players with seasonal points.

RACE #2

After Race #1 concludes, this second race will begin. For 25 minutes, Myst Cases will spawn inside Christmas City. Hunt these monsters to obtain various rewards! The top 3 hunters will get extra rewards after the race.

Talk to the Seasonal Attendance NPC in xmas_city 159 192. You can sign up your attendance once every 23 hours. Don't miss a single attendance day!

If you have excess Hunting/Seasonal Points, and you wish to spice up your farming time, talk to the Christmas Blessing NPC in xmas_city 157 196 to obtain various buffs! Each minute of the buff will cost you 4 seasonal points. Remember that the buff will only work inside Christmas City. Do take note that the buffs will continue to run even though you're offline.

• Snow Wish Buff - Adds chance to get Raffle Tickets when killing Christmas mobs.
  
• Jolly Bells Buff - Adds a chance to obtain Zeny Bags when killing Christmas mobs.
  
• Frosty's Blessing - Adds a chance to obtain Paragon Tickets when killing Christmas mobs.
  
• Soda Pop Buff - Adds a chance to obtain Bottle Cap when killing Christmas mobs.
  

Inside Christmas City, there will be some hidden codes that you can claim via the Gift Code Assistant NPC in caspen 179 188. You can share the code to your friends but make sure to claim them as fast as possible! These codes have a limited supply so whoever finds them first will get them first. A new giftcode will spawn everyday on no specific time. Good luck and have fun finding them!

You can enter the map where the Christmas Shoal is located via the portal at xmas_city 163 168. Take note that you can only fish in this shoal by using [bait] Snow Essence.

By doing the activities below, you have the chance to get mysterious pages torn from a diary. As for the secrets that lie beyond these pages, they're lost and buried beneath blood and snow. Complete this quest and you will be rewarded with 1x Snow White Card, plus a few other usable items.

Watch out for these garments and headgear! They will be released in future updates and phases!

You will now find NPCs around Christmas City looking for supplies.

• These NPCs will offer different rewards, which can be either good or bad. It's your choice to complete the quests or wait for them to change their rewards. They might ask for items in exchange for half the rewards offered by other NPCs.
  
• You can only complete each quest once per day.
  
• The next day, these NPCs may ask for different supplies and offer a different amount of rewards.
  
• Each NPC may provide an additional reward by chance.
  
• More of these NPCs will be added over time.

This little larva sells the old regular Christmas Headgears along with the old Vanilla Headgears. Find this larva at xmas_city 167 201.

This poring sells last year's Vanilla Headgears. Find this shop at xmas_city 167 206.

Various giftcodes may be posted from time to time in BraveRO's Discord Server, under the Giftcodes channel. You can use these giftcodes by talking to the Gift Code NPC in Caspen [caspen 179 188]. Codes may contain various items and goodies that may be usable during this event. Don't wait too long though since the codes have limited stocks, thus it's a first come, first served basis.

Have been farming more than 8 hours per day with HE GUM , only managed to get 1 Shovel drops , and race doesnt give EXP crystal anymore .

Overall rewards for mob farming are unattractive as previous event.

Have some suggestions here :

1) Provide race winner with exp crystal like how prev event does - 1000 for first place , 500 for second , 250 for third , 100 for fourth.

2) Increase shovel drop rate for Myst Case as their spawn rate are low and shouldnt have same drop rate as the first round mobs.

3) Increase shovel drop rate for overall mobs , I have seen many shovel drops in fishing but not that much on mob farming . I thought we should encourage people that has more movement in the game to have more rewards compared to fishing that just requires sitting and clicking.

4) The displayed drop rate for Paragon ticket is 0.25% , Bottle cap is 0.10% , but the ratio of bottle cap : Paragon ticket in my inventory after about 20 hours of farming is 5:1 so im not sure if the rate is displayed correctly.

Delivery Assistance Quest has been added. Here's how it works:

1. You will find NPCs around the Christmas city looking for supplies.

   
   

2. These NPCs will offer different rewards, which can be either good or bad. It's your choice to complete the quests or wait for them to change their rewards. They might ask for items in exchange for half the rewards offered by other NPCs.

Hello everyone! As of this writing, in just over an hour, around 08:00 server time Jan 14 2024, we will begin the Finale Event for Christmas 2023!

Furthermore, the following will be implemented:

• The new rares and headgear set is now available via Donation Credits
  
• Raffle NPC will be added
  
• New Pets added in seasonal gacha and mythical tickets reward pool, majority of them are rares.
  
• The Pet Maid Ram and Rem were given fishing stats.
  
• Compendium Shop will be available.
  
• Christmas monsters and drops will be removed.
  
• Christmas Fishing Shoals will be disabled.
  
• Some NPCs especially those that has nothing to do with Christmas Events will remain.
  
• You can no longer gain Naughty and Nice Jellies from features. You can still obtain Compendium EXP though.
  
• Battleground and Compendium Event will continue.
  
• Christmas Treasure will stay.
