RilianeSwitching Elemental Table from Renewal to Pre-renewal
#1
Starting today, the server will be using the pre-renewal elemental table. The main reason for this is to increase the significance of using elemental armors and to balance the adjustments made years ago to some skills. Most of the damage formulas on our server were adjusted to imitate the pre-renewal version of the game this resulted in some skills doing more damage than they should against opposing elements.

Here are the most important changes:
  • Ghost element will now only deal 25% damage against Level 1 neutral property targets (compared to 70% in the renewal table).
  • Neutral element will now only deal 25% damage against Level 1 ghost property targets (compared to 70% in the renewal table).
  • Water element will now only deal 50% damage against Level 1 wind property targets (compared to 90% in the renewal table).
  • Earth element will now deal 100% damage against Level 1 earth elemental property targets (compared to only 25% in the renewal table).
  • Earth element will now only deal 50% damage against Level 1 fire property targets (compared to 90% in the renewal table).
  • Wind element will now only deal 50% damage against Level 1 earth property targets (compared to 90% in the renewal table).
These changes will also affect elemental damages against monsters that may have Level 2-4 elemental properties. For more detailed information, please visit [link].

We believe that these changes will give significant importance to the use of proper armor when facing opponents. Although it sounds a lot, it's not really a lot. This will only affect how each element is countered by another element.

This change is still under observation and skills will be adjusted as necessary..
