For new players, here's a sample daily routine that you can do. 

• Sign up for Attendance. Try not to miss a single day. A special reward may await you in later days!
  
• Do Daily Quest. For PVE EXP
  
• Play Wheel of Fortune. For PVE EXP
  
• Do Compendium Daily Quest: You can party with other players who are killing the same mobs to complete your quests much faster!
  
• Do Zeph Missions: For earning Zeny and some Star Coins
  
• Kill more event mobs inside Christmas City for loots: These loots can be exchanged for Star Coins in later phases of the event!
  
• Participate in Battlegrounds to Earn PVP Compendium EXP: Win or lose, you still get EXP and a bunch of other useful items!
  
• Participate in Automated Events when they are available for a chance to win them!
  

Please take note that this is ONLY a sample. You can always choose to do your own thing. You can probably be content with killing event mobs for their loots and potentially earn more Star Coins later. You could also only join PvP and do daily activities to increase your compendium level.
