Battleground 3rd Job Skills

There have been many requests to disable 3rd job skills from Battleground, as well as many other players who believe 3rd job skills should remain enabled. 

In an attempt to satisfy and accommodate both types of players, we have come up with a battleground schedule that enables 3rd job skills 3 days out of the week, and disables the 3rd job skills the remaining 4 days of the week. The schedule will run every day at 1 AM server time (01:00).


Days with 3rd Job Skills Disabled:

• Sundays
  
• Tuesdays
  
• Thursdays
  
• Saturdays
  

Days with 3rd Job Skills Enabled:

• Mondays
  
• Wednesdays
  
• Fridays
  

In addition to enabling or disabling the 3rd job skills, there are also battleground damage settings that will be updated depending on the days.
These settings will reduce the damage dealt by players inside battlegrounds.

i.e bg_magic_attack_damage_rate: 40 means that magic skills will only deal 40% of their damage in Battlegrounds.

Settings when 3rd job skills are enabled:

• bg_short_attack_damage_rate: 60
  
• bg_long_attack_damage_rate: 50
  
• bg_weapon_attack_damage_rate: 50
  
• bg_magic_attack_damage_rate: 40
  
• bg_misc_attack_damage_rate: 60
  

Settings when 3rd job skills are disabled:

• bg_short_attack_damage_rate: 100
  
• bg_long_attack_damage_rate: 90
  
• bg_weapon_attack_damage_rate: 90
  
• bg_magic_attack_damage_rate: 75
  
• bg_misc_attack_damage_rate: 90
  

The battleground announcements will be updated to indicate whether 3rd jobs are currently enabled or disabled.
