Mining Loots Guide for Dummies

Just an introduction:

 
Ahem. Where should I start? Ah, right. Should introduce myself first, for most or few who’re unaware of me or who the f*ck I am.
 
Well, no need, since I was away for awhile and just came back again last year cus my friends here want me to go back and do shits (farming, WOE, events, etc.), but…
 
As y’all not know, I left this server due to my own personal struggles and being busy (I hate saying goodbyes so I didn't said anything), but before I disappeared back in 2022, I was still abit active on mining and when I came back, found it still intact in my own account so I went through. What I noticed is that there aren’t any guides here about it. So here I am.
 
What this guide will tell isn’t about gears, there’s a comprehensive guide about mining gears at the bRO wiki to read. What I’ll put here are the loots you’ll get, esp. on the higher mining spots (Hades / Addax / Berzebub) and Twilight mines, as well as others (Cold Steel, Grave, etc).
 
Take note that this thread will be edited over time with additional stuff so bear with it if I didn’t do much talking / update here.
 
So without further ado, here we go.
 
First things first, mining is a good investment for making zeny / being rich but at first, a risky one cus you need to spend zeny for mining crystals to level up (skill pts are important to level up your mining skills for your own convenience and easier mining) and mining gears to help you so there will be a lot of huge spending on it. If you feel like not on it, better do fishing instead. If you’re one of those people who can do multitasking then doing both at the same time would do.

Secondly, maximizing your mining level to 150-175 would do wonders especially if you’re a hardcore gamer who spends a lot of time playing in this server, as you can easily earn lots per hour / day, just be aware of the spots where Hades, Addax and Twilight mines appear.
 
If you’re a low level miner or beginner, better check Twilight mines as they can be mined even by low level miners.
 
Thirdly, some spots are owned by guilds who had personal access on the castles after WOE (same as Shimmering Shoals inside castles). If you feel like doing mining inside, better ask for their permission to join.
 
Lastly, be patient. Not everyone will be lucky to get stuff instantly. Or to be precise, the zeny you invested won't come back immediately. Just apply IRL stuff here and imagine it. Investing money won't immediately bring profits, It is abit slow, take note of that.

And don't expect your initial gears to be durable or reliable, esp. mining boots (unless again, you had those expensive mining boots and gears, you’re safe), so sometimes you will spend zeny to buy a new one or upgrade it / replace it with much better gears. Or, always getting fail (injuries / incorrect answer to pop-up questions) during mining.

I – Minerals

 
Minerals are needed for various things, like making gears (armors, accessories, shoes, etc), fishing gears (correct me if I’m wrong), Daily Missions at Atlantis, selling via vending etc. Better save A LOT of these then.

II – Hero, Elite Hero and Elite Hero Weapon Quest Items

 
Hero and Elite Hero system is perhaps the mainstay / most famous feature here in this server, with most players being heroes and elite themselves. Back before, farmers (mostly Warlocks) farm for most of the items for hours just to complete few HQ / EHQ sets. But thanks to mining, it became another option to gather the items. Higher mining levels gives you sure chances to obtain these items.

III – Level, Forging, Fishing, Refining, Fusing, Cooking and Crafting Items

 
Forging stuff is very common in every server. Crafting also goes with this. Others as well.
 
We forge our gears to get them to their maximum performance (esp PVP and WOE stuff) and crafting stuff like weapons and others. Mining gives us some items that we need.
 
1 Level Mining Crystal – must have, as it can give you a level up in mining faster and to reach a certain level to mine higher mining spots
Pure Elunium – For refining gears without breaking them (must have a normal Elunium during refine)
Pure Oridecon – For refining weapons without breaking them (must have a normal Oridecon during refine)
Enriched Elunium
Enriched Oridecon
Pure Elunium Fragment – to forge / make Pure Elunium
Pure Oridecon Fragment – to forge / make Pure Oridecon
Blood Stone – for fusing cards, crafting gears, mission board item needed at Atlantis, etc.
Bloodbranch Coral - For upgrading / making fishing gears
Temporal Stone – Enchanting stuff
Temporal Crystal – Enchanting stuff
Blue Charm – for fusing cards, summoning Addax
Red Charm – for fusing cards, summoning Addax
Yellow Charm – for fusing, summoning Addax
Gold Ore – requirements for various stuff, like Fishing, Division Gloves, etc.
Ancient Gold Ore – for overloading some items
Blood Pearl – for Fishing stuff
Thousand Year Culinary Wine – for cooking

IV – Others

 
Some other stuff you get that you can save to your storage as it has some usages, including some zenies.

Social Coin – coins to collect to buy stuff at Atlantis
Lost Treasure – sell to NPC (unless it has other usages)

V - Event Exclusive Items

During some events like Halloween, Christmas and Easter, as well as Valentines, there are mines available at event-exclusive maps. These mines, alongside giving you to dig those loots above, has other items needed for various things like enchanting Vanilla gears.

Take note, that THESE are only available during a specific event and these items might not be used on the next one, so either you can keep it as a remembrance, or consider it trash. 

Withered Flower - can be obtained during Halloween Event, used for enchanting Halloween exclusive Vanilla gears
Scarlet Snow Flower - can be obtained during Christmas Event, used for enchanting Christmas exclusive Vanilla gears
Netherworld Coin - can only be used during Halloween event
Star Coin - can only be used during Christmas event

Note: Some items are event-exclusive, means, even though I can list them, there are chances these items wont be used to the next event
