A friend of mine experienced this error everytime he opened the patcher and then got straight to the client directly. He couldn't get any updates at all atm. He didn't change anything yet and I've tried to help him in any possible ways and the problem still exists. I've googled it and tried everything but still nothing had any good results. Can someone help me check on it?

usually use x86 version, I am not sure if that will help much but it was a missing component for a few errors I had

I alrd gave him c++ and dotnet 3.5. Now I’m suspecting his windows got infected by a virus or something. I’ll try to advise him to reinstall the windows maybe. He reset his windows but the bug seems doesn’t perish
