She enlists your aid and gives you your own Ghosttrapper Agent Set (time-limited event item), and a Divine Weapon (time-limited event item). In order to deal significant damage to the various halloween monsters usually found in hallow_city, you will need to equip the Ghosttrapper Set and Divine Weapon. You can further strengthen your Divine Weapon by talking to the Divine Upgrader (land_prt 66 58). For each upgrading attempt, it will cost 50x Halloween 2025 Coins. You can acquire Halloween 2025 Coins by doing the various activities for this event. You can upgrade your Divine Weapon up to level 10. Once it reaches level 10, it will deal higher damage to the monsters. You also need to equip the Ghosttrapper Mag Glass garment to fully maximize your damage against the monsters. The Ghosttrapper Mag Glass garment is obtainable as the first Attendance Reward. The monsters drop a bunch of items. You can find the bonfire in land_prt 43 40 GEAR HUNT NPC Through this NPC, you can select one headgear from a curated list, and then all mobs in easter_fild will have a 0.01% chance to drop your chosen headgear. You can find this NPC in @warp land_prt 53 58. Note that drop rate boosters will not affect the drop rate of the chosen headgear, and you can only hunt for one headgear at a time. Use the command @gearhunt to check your current gear hunting status. You can change your target headgear at any time. For example, if you initially chose the Vulcano Wings but later decide you want the Hellfire Bapho Horn, simply return to the Gear Hunting NPC and select the new headgear and pay the required item. Each headgear selection requires a small payment of Abyss Stones. This fee is non-refundable, even if you do not obtain the headgear from hunting monsters. Abyss Stones drop from the monsters in hallow_city, as well as from Battlegrounds. OLD HALLOWEEN SHOP Classic Halloween headgears return! This board's tasks refreshes every hour (server time). INVASION RACE - SOLO VERSION Race Schedule. These times are based on server time. Use @time to check the current server time. 02:03 | 05:03 | 08:03 | 11:03 | 14:03 | 17:03 | 20:03 | 23:03 Approximately every 3 hours, monsters from another dimension will invade Hallow City and another random city. The attack on another city will be announced few minutes after the first invasion. Dimensional monsters give seasonal points. Players can choose to participate in whichever city they prefer. Claire Posted October 20 Author Posted October 20 Ghost Trapping is this seasonal event's primary way of earning a bunch of rewards, as long as you put in the time to level up your Ghost Photo Album, Ghosttrapper Level, and capture a lot of ghosts. See the details below. PREPARATION Before you can actually begin to trap some ghosts, you will need to get a Ghost Trapping Mechanism, a Candle, and some Ghost Baits. You can get the following items from the GT Recruiter inside the building at land_prt 59 84. In the same building, you can also find an NPC that will basically guide you in Ghosttrapping. 1x Suck-o-Matic-9000 (Mechanism) 1x Twisted Candles 100x Ghostbait Malty Brew 1x Ghosttrapper Rookie Certificate 1x Ghost Photo Album Ghost Films are used to take ghost pictures, but isn’t required to lure ghosts. These films drop from the monsters in hallow_city, as well as from winning a Battlegrounds round. Plasma items are used to lure specific ghosts at a chance, and they also provide some Ghosttrapping stats when equipped. These aren’t required to lure ghosts in general. SETUP You first need to equip your Ghost Trapping Mechanism, and Candle via the Ghost Haunting Spot NPC in @warp land_prt 46 81. You can also setup your item using the command @gt. Take note that by equipping the Mechanism, and Candle, these items are actually taken from your inventory. There’s no way to unequip them aside from equipping another Mechanism, and Candle. Some items from the event also provide some Ghosttrapping stats, namely the Ghosttrapper Rookie Certificate (from GT Recruiter), the Ghosttrapper Camera Orb (from GT Agent Nova), and the Ghosttrapper Mag Glass (Attendance Reward). Equip these for additional Ghosttrapping stats. Once you’ve equipped your Mechanism, Candle, and other items, you need to equip your Ghost Bait next using the same NPC. If you have some Plasma and wish to use them, you can equip them using the same NPC as well or using the @gt command. CAPTURING GHOSTS If you’re familiar with BraveRO’s Fishing System, the Ghost Hunting Event also works in a similar way, but with some differences. Unlike fishing, there’s no reeling time. After a short loading time, you will immediately know whether you’ve successfully caught a ghost or not. To actually start capturing ghosts: You need to find a spot to capture ghosts. For the beginning of the event, only the Ghost Haunting Spot in land_prt is available. Later on more spots will be available, and you can see these spots by opening your Ghost Photo Book and choose Haunting Spot Location. Once you're at a Haunting Spot, click on it and choose Let’s Hunt. The dialogue window will next show what Mechanism, Candle, Ghost Bait, and Plasma you’ve currently equipped. Afterwards, it will show your Raw Power, Mystic Power, Attraction, Loot Rate, and Cooldown Stats. Select Hunt!! A short loading bar will appear. There are two stats to take note of: Raw Power, and Mystic Power. Most ghosts can be captured via Raw Power. However, certain ghosts will require a certain amount of Mystic Power before you can have a chance of capturing them. If you’ve successfully captured a ghost, the dialogue window will then show the name of the ghost, and its rarity. You’re also given some items, and ghost trapping EXP upon a successful capture. After a successful capture, a dialogue window will show the EXP you’ve got and the current number of ghosts that you’ve captured for that certain ghost. If you’ve leveled up, you will also receive some skill points. Starting from Ghost Trapper Level 3 and above, you will start receiving additional random rewards from leveling up. After capturing the ghost, you can choose to either take its photo or release it. Taking a ghost’s photo will require and consume Ghost Film. Higher rarity ghosts will have the chance to give you higher quality pictures. There is a small chance that you will trigger the captcha while capturing ghosts, when this happens, simply answer the question (the answer should be given already). If you correctly answer it, you will be given 1x Ghostbait Cola While you can take the picture of every ghost you’ve encountered, if you’re lacking in Ghost Film, it’s recommended to only take photos of higher rarity ghosts. If you’re still waiting for your cooldown, you can use a Chrono Crystal in order to instantly reset your cooldown time. EARNING EXP The amount of experience points required for getting to the next Ghosttrapping level is a bit different from fishing. For all levels, Fishing only has a 1,000 EXP requirement per level in order to level up. On the other hand, in order to increase your Ghosttrapper level, the required EXP to reach the next level will increase. For example, you need 100 EXP to reach level 2, 400 EXP to reach level 3, 900 EXP to reach level 4, and so on. Meanwhile, amount of EXP required for your Ghost Photo Book is 1,000 for all levels, so this is pretty much straightforward. Take note that the EXP that's required by the Ghost Photo Album is entirely separate from the EXP for Ghosttrapping. Basically, you're looking to earn EXP for two things: Ghosttrapper Level - mainly for increasing your Ghosttrapping skills, which will allow you to capture more ghosts. There's a separate reward for capturing a certain amount for each ghost. EXP is earned from capturing ghosts. Ghost Photo Book Level - basically this season's "compendium." You earn EXP for your book by using the ghost photos you've taken after capturing ghosts. The higher your Ghost Photo Book level, the more rewards that you could potentially earn later on. SKILL POINTS Skill points can normally be acquired from leveling up your Ghost Trapper Level. Each level will grant you some skill points. An alternative way of earning skill points is by using skill books after you’ve already used the skill book for the first time. You can increase the levels of your skills via the command @gt SKILL BOOKS There are eight Ghost Trapping skills. Each skill requires a specific skill book to unlock. Using a skill book after you’ve already learned its skill will give you skill points instead. Take note that you cannot reset your skill points, so be careful in allotting your skills. There's a chance that skill books may drop from Battlegrounds. You can see your current skills via the command @gt Mechanism Overclock – increases Raw Power by 2 per skill level. Max Level: 30 Arcane Spellcraft – increases Mystic Power by 1 per skill level. Max Level: 25 Temporal Distortion – increases Cooldown Reduction by 1 per skill level. Max Level: 120 Ghost Magnet – increases Attraction by 2 XD per skill level. Max Level: 30 Soul Plunder – increases Loot Chance by 1 per skill level. Max Level: 20 Spirit Liberation – increases Experience Explosion by 1 per skill level. Max Level: 30 Spectral Snare – increases Fetch Chance by 1 per skill level. Even the ghost seems impressed by the focus. Detailed Ghost Photo - So detailed you can count the ghost’s regrets. Eerie Ghost Photo - The ghost’s eyes seem to follow you. Probably just good photography. Nightmarish Ghost Photo - Collectors say it’s priceless. Therapists say it’s concerning. Exquisite Ghost Photo - Too beautiful for comfort, too haunted for display. By using these different photos, you will able to earn EXP for your Photo Album. Each photo will give varying EXP. The higher the quality of the photo, the higher EXP it will give. To unlock the Premium Rewards, you'll have to pay either 3000x 1B Zeny Bags, or 125x Donation Tokens. Take note that the Premium Rewards are unlocked separately. If you have purchased the Premium Ghosttrapping Beginner Package before, you still have to pay the unlock costs of the Photo Album Premium Rewards. To see the list of rewards, open your Ghost Photo Album, and click on Reward List. Remember that you still need to reach the corresponding levels in order to claim the Premium Rewards for a particular level. Other NPCs and features will be released at a later time. SEASONAL RAID BOSS The raid boss will appear on the following times below. This usually happens around 07:00 (server time) or before/after the of War of Emperium scheduled for that day, whichever is applicable. The Event Finale will feature the release of rare headgears, as well as the Raffle NPC. Game Masters (GM) will also hold various special in-game events. Winners of these events will win prizes! Since the Finale marks the end of the event, when the Event Finale begins, a bunch of stuff may be disabled which may include but not limited to the following: Event monsters inside event map will no longer drop items. Raid Bosses will be disabled Disabling of earning of Tokens and other event currencies/items from features. Other exact details will be unveiled once we reach this phase.
