Dear Brave RO Community, It has come to our attention that there have been extreme cases of harassment in recent weeks, specifically involving the use of personal information to attack other players online. Depending on the country, this behavior can be illegal. Personal information includes anything that, when put together, would directly and certainly identify an individual. This includes, but is not limited to: legal names, email addresses, home addresses, business details, high schools, and colleges. The Brave RO team does not tolerate this kind of behavior. We are implementing a new rule called “Doxing is Illegal”. Doxing is defined as the action or process of searching for and publishing private or identifying information about a particular individual on the internet, typically with malicious intent. Punishment for breaking this rule will almost certainly result in a permanent ban, including a Gepard ban. However, a GM will still review each case based on context and severity. Please remember to always treat fellow players with a minimum level of respect and dignity. I’d like to remind everyone what we already have a rule against player harassment: Show a minimum form of respect for all players. The staff, be it support players, GMs, or the adminstrator, are players too. All individuals have the right to be respected by others until they prove otherwise. We do not demand that you love everyone, but not awarding basic forms of respect, examples of, but not limited to the following such as swearing, insulting, harrassment, be it sexual, racial, or religious nature is illegal and will not be tolerated. Players who break this rule will also be punished accordingly. This game is more than 20 years old, so we assume most players are adults by now. It is shameful that we have to remind people to treat others with basic decency. To all players who feel like they are being harassed: You can always approach any GM, post a report in the forums, or send a ticket via the main website. Some tips: 1. Don’t react to provocations. 2. Take as much evidence as you can. 3. Send your reports to the appropriate channels. Bonus tip: When creating a character, remember that using your real legal name exposes you to potential doxing. Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. The in-game channels (#main, #trade, and #support) have been re-enabled last June 2024 in the hopes of fostering better communication between players. With the stuff that has been happening these past weeks, it has saddened us deeply that some players wished to abuse this previlege. In the past, the in-game channels have been removed due to extreme player toxicity, and just recently, we're seeing the same thing happening again. Despite repeated warnings from Support Players and Game Masters, it really hurts us that players are more than willing to ignore and go against our sincere warnings. As much it pains us, we'd have to make some drastic decisions. Several players have been reported recently who have been extremely toxic and inappropriate when using the in-game channels. After some deliberation with the GM Team regarding the severity of their actions, some of these players have been unfortunately punished. We will continue to monitor the in-game channels to ensure comfort for all players in the server. We do not wish to see this kind of thing happen again in the future. Please only use English when using the in-game channels, don't be toxic and inappropriate when using it. Spamming is also out of the question. We're hoping and praying that our dear players may be able to understand this. Thank you.

Recruitment Period: March 25, 2024 - April 12, 2024 Welcome to the BraveRO Support Player Recruitment! We're thrilled that you're interested in joining our team as a Support Player. As a Support Player, you'll play a crucial role in assisting fellow players, and fostering a positive environment within the game. After being accepted, Support Players will be granted a Level 2 account status. This account level means they only have access and can see @request messages. Furthermore, Support Players can't use any other special commands that are only granted to Level 20 and above accounts. A Support Player's purpose is to help newbies and answer questions. Please take the time to carefully complete the following questions. Your responses will help our Game Masters in identifying candidates who possess the necessary skills, dedication, and mindset to excel in this role. Primary Job Description: This is voluntary work. Meaning that helping in the server should be voluntarily done with/without compensation Answer @request questions. (Do not go inactive without informing the team or else immediate demotion after a certain period of inactivity) Assist players who are lost and have no idea what they're doing on the server. Brainstorm with the team regarding contents, updates, balancing, events, and promos. Ability to script, sprite, art, and graphic design is not required but is a big plus Serves as a bridge between the players and the GM Team. Requirements: Preferably someone who can adjust to the server's time zone. Average to High Availability (2+ hours daily) in-game, preferably for SEA and/or USA regions. Must be active in the BraveRO Forums or in the BraveRO Discord Server. At least 18 years old Must be able to properly and professionally communicate with other staff members and players. This includes having above-average fluent English writing and reading comprehension. Must be able to write/read English and at least one or more language, preferably Filipino, Indonesian, and Spanish. You should not have a recent history of involvement in drama, arguments, or recent punishments. Can handle players' criticism and random problems. You are held to a higher standard cause you represent the staff team. Should have at least 1 Elite Hero character that was made without Spirit of Heroism. You have to be familiar with most of the game's features and quests. To uphold a positive and enjoyable gaming experience for all players, the server administrators have collectively established the following rule: "Any player who spreads false rumors about Game Masters (GMs) without presenting concrete evidence to substantiate their claims will be subjected to disciplinary action." Disciplinary actions for violations are as follows: 1st offense: A temporary ban from the server for 3 days. 2nd offense: A more extended temporary ban for 1 week. 3rd offense: A permanent ban from the server. This rule aims to foster a respectful and harmonious community, ensuring fair treatment for GMs and safeguarding the overall well-being of the server's gameplay.

Typically, we ban the account associated with the guild leader using the emblemless guild. If someone wishes to create a new character each time to participate in War of Emperium (WOE), we may consider enforcing a ban by Gepard if it’s proven that the same person is doing so repeatedly.

Announcement: Attention all guilds participating in the War of Emperium (WoE)! We would like to remind all guild leaders and members about the importance of adhering to Rule 20 of the server regulations. It states that guild emblems must be clearly visible and distinct during WoE battles. This means your emblem should not be "nothing" or consist of only two small letters. Event Period: 9th December 2022 - 8th January 2023. [align=center]Christmas City, (xmas_city) is governed by the Yuletide Kingdom. The people of the city were cheerful, bright, and joyful.[/align] [align=center]But this year, a strange phenomenon occurred: the Yuletide Kingdom lost communication with xmas_city. So, it was decided that Frosty and his Snowmen would set sail and investigate the strange disconnection— since the Christmas season is right around the corner. [/align] To no avail, the Yuletide Kingdom once again hasn't heard back from Frosty and his Snowmen. Desperate, the Yuletide Kingdom asked Brave Heroes to help investigate: only to find xmas_city has been occupied by strange living dolls and toys. Brave Heroes this season is once again tasked to fight off these evil dolls and toys as well as discover and investigate what really happened in xmas_city before the season of giving arrives. Help us crack the mystery! [align=center] [/align] The first joyful season of giving has arrived in BraveRO for the first time. Brave players are able to join and farm to the event's full potential. Remember this is a season of giving so this event could potentially be one of the most profitable events of the server's history so make sure you don't miss every minute of it. We have prepared a bunch of cool mini-games and Christmas-related farming quests, I hope you guys enjoy them! In participating in the Christmas event, you first have to talk to Midgard Dragon Knight [caspen 175 215], you will be granted divine equipment and upgradable weapons and the entrance to xmas_city. Like the Halloween events, normal equipment will have no power against the monsters that have gathered inside Christmas City. The only way to deal any significant damage against them is through equipping the Divine Armaments. This equipment is capable of vanishing a specified amount of life points from seasonal monsters. Every 2nd job and above classes should be able to get and equip one. The Armament Weapons will remain time-limited but players can choose to upgrade them up to level 10, giving them a little bit of bonus, especially at Lvl 10. The weapons can be upgraded at the Armament Mastersmith located inside Christmas city. SEASONAL SERVER FEATURE BUFF The Attendance NPC is back. Just sign up every day to receive a daily reward. The list is to be added soon. You can sign up for the attendance NPC once every 23 hours. Don't miss a single day, you might get something really nice. Warning: Do not try claiming multiple rewards in this NPC using multiple accounts. If you have excess Hunting/Seasonal Points, and you wish to spice up your farming time, talk to this NPC to obtain various buffs! Each minute of the buff will cost you 4 seasonal points. Remember that the buff will only work inside Christmas City (xmas_city). Do take note that the buffs will continue to run even though you're offline. Snow Wish Buff - Adds chance to get Raffle Tickets when killing Christmas mobs. Jolly Bells Buff - Adds a chance to obtain Zeny Bags when killing Christmas mobs. Frosty's Blessing - Adds a chance to obtain Paragon Tickets when killing Christmas mobs. Winter Plum Buff - Adds a chance to obtain Icy Snow Charm when killing Christmas mobs. RACE AND MYST CASE HUNT Every 3 hours, hunting races will begin in Christmas City! RACE #1 For 30 minutes, you will be tasked with killing monsters with the Mischievous, Naughty, and Playful prefixes. These new monsters will spawn for the duration of the race and killing them will give 1~3 Hunting Point. A random global buff will also be active during this time. The top 3 hunters will get extra rewards after the race. RACE #2 After Race #1 concludes, this second race will begin. For 25 minutes, Myst Cases will spawn inside Christmas City. Hunt these monsters to obtain various rewards! The top 3 hunters will get extra rewards after the race. MINI GAME: TREASURE HUNTING IN THE SNOW If you've found one of those elusive Show Shovels (ID: 26645), now's a good chance to make good use of them! Head to this strange beetle in Christmas City, and buy a Christmas Treasure Map from him. Each map costs 8x 1B Zeny Bags, or 1777x Snow Star Tokens. Double-click the treasure map and warp it to the location provided on the map. (if you want to walk you are also free to do so.) If a pop-up appears, it means you are in the right spot. Dig to your heart's content but it will all depend on your luck. Depending on your luck, you can dig up to 9x on a spot. Rewards depend on how deep you can dig. There's also a 1/4 chance to break your shovel when digging deeper. There are a lot of random rewards you can get from digging including mineral boxes, rares, new costume garments, Spirit of Heroism, combat gears, Artifact of Trial, modified temporal boots, Demi Freya gears, donation services, and so on. But again it will all depend on your luck. So, Goodluck and Merry Christmas! If you still don't have a Show Shovel, it drops at a really low chance (0.01%) from the mobs inside Christmas City. The shovel now also drops from the Stuffed Dragon (3%) and Christmas Bandit (1%) mini-bosses. Winning a Battlegrounds round now also has a 2% chance of getting a shovel! Do you have some vanilla headgears lying around, just accumulating dust? Now's a good time to bring them to life and start enchanting them! Since it's the season of Christmas, first time enchantment is free! You heard that right, it's FREE! Bring your unsullied vanilla headgears to the Christmas Enchanter in Caspen and get them enchanted! You can bring most vanilla headgears. The enchanter can perform its magic on majority of the vanilla headgears, which includes fishing vanillas, guild instance vanillas, and halloween vanillas. The free enchant is only valid for vanilla headgears without any previous enchants on their specific slots If you brought an upper vanilla headgear with an existing base and secondary enchant, you will still be able to avail of the free enchant for the epic slot. Likewise, if you bring a completely clean upper vanilla headgear, you'd be able to avail of the free enchant for the base, secondary, and epic slots! You'll only need to pay the regular enchantment fees if you're trying to Force Enchant a vanilla headgear, or if you're trying to enchant a vanilla headgear with a pre-existing enchants. To see a list of the available enchants, especially for the secondary enchant for upper headgears, and the normal and epic enchants for middle and lower headgears, please refer to this guide in the wiki. If you have accumulated a lot of Undelivered Gift Boxes and Naughty and Nice Lists, head to this NPC in Christmas City to exchange them into Snow Star Tokens, Christmas Pet Scrolls, Fortune Headgear Chests, and Holiday Giftboxes! Please remember that the exchange limit per transaction with this NPC is 5000. New items that can be exchanged will be added in a few days. Once you have a lot of Snow Star Tokens, look for this NPC, browse through his wares of headgears, and buy the ones that you like! A few new headgears have been also added to this shop, including dyeable headgear, the [Vanilla] Crewmate Helm White. More headgears will be added in Phase 3. A spoiler for some of the upper headgears in Phase 3 below: If you have purchased a [Vanilla] Crewmate Helm White and you wish to this item in a different color, then this cat lady has the answer to your wish! Just visit this NPC in Caspen if you wish to avail of her service. For her to work her magic, you must bring 50x Dyestuffs (the color will depend on the color of the helm you choose), and 25x Icy Snow Charm. The repeatable hunting quest is now available. Visit this NPC in Christmas City to begin your quest. There's a 1 hour cooldown between taking quests. Every successful hunt will reward you 300M Zeny, 1x Christmas Pet Scroll, 35~50 pieces Snow Star Token, and 1~3 pieces Icy Snow Charms. Common Monster Spawn Areas: Savage Hunting is back! Seek out this NPC in Christmas City, buy his Monster Cages worth 1x 100M Zeny Bags each and begin catching those savages in xmas_city. To capture the Thieving Savages, simply kill them while having a Monster Cage in your inventory. Once you killed a savage, a Monster Cage will become a Captured Monster. Once you have accumulated enough Captured Monsters, look for the Savage Hunter again and exchange them for various items! FISHING HOUSE Added Fishing House (Seasonal limited fishing spot). The house is located at xmas_city 162 168. The fishing house will stay until January 8, 2023 You cannot fish here without Snow Essence (bait) You have a chance to capture mythical fishes here using snow essence. (only here) Captcha will only appear every 15th attempt. Fishes here has chance to drop, a lot of extra drop similar to piranha fishing event including but not limited to rare end game gears at low chance. Your chance to get some special items here is the same with piranha shoal. Except your cooldown is not fixed. The cooldown here is the same with every regular shoals. You need cooldown gears here. Fish stats are based on your gears. High attraction is important here to get the rare fishes. The fishing house drop 5 special christmas exclusive fishing gears. (this items are not yet working, required script reload - tomorrow or later today.) Though not stated in its effect description, the Wishmaker fishing rod has the effect of reducing reeling time. Are you itching to create the "perfect" Vanilla headgear for yourself? Tired wasting countless zeny bags just to snag that last epic enchant that you've always wanted but end up with a random enchant you don't want? Fret no more! This new enchanter will solve all your problems, for a price of course! Since enchanting a very specific epic enchant on an upper headgear requires very expensive materials, her service does not come cheap. You can enchant using either Zeny Bags or Credits. It will cost you 500x 1B Zeny Bags or 150 Donation Credits to enchant your headgear's final slot. The first NPC for Phase 3 is now here! Find this NPC in Caspen. Don't worry, she's just laughing at a joke she heard earlier and totally not from you constantly getting whammy and wasting tickets. Also, at Stage 8, there's a chance that you'll get a Poseidon Vest or Poseidon Gloves. Take this chance to get them! MINI GAME: HELP THE BAD COOK If you have been saving up your Stolen Cocoa Beans and Snowman Cookies, if you like, you can give some to these two people in Christmas City. Chef Moryara likes to cook so give her some of your Cocoa Beans. Meanwhile, Lady Juncea likes to munch on some snacks, so she'll highly appreciate those Snowman Cookies. For each item you give to them, you'll be given 1 Snow Star Token and it raises your intimacy towards that NPC. For every 1000 intimacy points, you'll get 1 intimacy level. For each intimacy level, you'll get an additional reward. Remember that each NPC prefers one thing over the other. Since Lady Juncea prefers cookies, every cookie you give her grants you 4 intimacy points. Giving her cocoa still grants you intimacy, however, since she can't really make use of it, she'll only give you 2 intimacy points. The same goes for Chef Moryara. The chef will grant you 3 intimacy points for every cocoa you give, while cookies only give 1 point. There is an exchange limit per item for each NPC. For Chef Moryara, you can exchange a maximum of 300 Cocoas or 1000 Cookies for every transaction. For Lady Juncea, it is 250 Cookies or 500 Cocoa. Specific rewards will be given to intimacy levels 1 up to 30. Take note that the rewards given by each NPC may differ. For intimacy level 31 and beyond, it will only reward you with 500 Snow Star Tokens. ITEM REWARD LIST ISELLE If you got some Stolen Cocoa Beans and Snowman Cookies, head to Chef Moryara (xmas_city 169 179) and ask her to bake these into one of 3 items: Box of Chocolates (3x Stolen Cocoa Beans and 1 Snowman Cookie each) Heart Cookie (1 Stolen Cocoa Beans and 3 Snowman Cookies each) Christmas Rice Cake (2 Stolen Cocoa Beans and 2 Snowman Cookies each) Once you have baked those items, head over to Iselle (xmas_city 142 226) and give her those items. Each item also gives intimacy points. Box of Chocolates - 1 intimacy each Heart Cookie - 2 intimacy each Christmas Rice Cake - 3 intimacy each As with the previous intimacy NPCs, for each item you give Iselle, she'll give you 1 Snow Star Tokens. For every 1,000 intimacy points, you'll increase your intimacy level toward Iselle. And for each intimacy level, you'll be given a random reward. The rewards can range from somewhat trash and to something really, really good. NEW PETS RELEASE New pets will be released. 13 new pets can be acquired via the Special Exchange Coupon. There will also be 2 donation exclusive pets. Take note: these pets' fishing effects wont take effect until the next script reload.
