Dear Adveturers,

We have implemented a major revamp to the Elite Hero Division system! In an attempt to make Division Events more competitive, we have reduced the number of Divisions from 4 to 2, and revamped the way the Division system and placement works.

The old permanent four-division format has been retired for Division Events. Going forward, Elite Heroes will no longer be permanently locked into Alpha, Beta, Delta, or Zeta. Instead, all eligible players belong to the Elite Hero System, and temporary teams, Vanguard vs Sentinel, will be created for each Division Event.

This update touches dozens of files and is currently under beta testing. Bugs are expected.

The two active event divisions are now:

• Vanguard
• Sentinel

These divisions are temporary and are assigned only for the upcoming event.

New Division Queue System

Division Events now use a queue system instead of the old preparation-only format.

When a Division Event is about to begin, players will have 10 minutes to join the queue using: @divqueue, @dq or @divisionqueue

During the queue window, you may withdraw and switch to another character if needed. You may leave the queue with commands: @ldq or @leavequeue

Important queue rules:

• Only one character per account may queue.
• Only one character per Gepard Device ID may queue.
• You must be an eligible Elite Hero to join.
• Your division assignment is temporary for that event only.

Team Balancing

Once the queue closes, the system will automatically balance players into Vanguard and Sentinel. The balancing system prioritizes
Class distribution and Division level / Division EXP. 

The goal is to create more competitive and balanced Division Events, especially with the current player population.

10-Minute Party Preparation

After the queue closes and temporary divisions are assigned, players will have another 10 minutes to prepare.

Use this time to:

• Check which division you were assigned to.
• Party with your temporary teammates.
• Prepare supplies.
• Report to the correct event location.

Only queued and assigned Elite Heroes will be allowed to enter the active Division Event.

Updated Division Events

The following Division Events have been updated to use the new Vanguard vs Sentinel format:

• Save The Princess
• Clash of Divisions - Currently disabled while we test the new system
• Division Relic Rush - New event, currently disabled while we test the new system (an announcement will be made soon with details)

These events now use the temporary team assignment system and will only score between Vanguard and Sentinel.

Old Alpha/Beta/Delta/Zeta event scoring has been retired from active Division Event play.

Salary Changes

• Event salary still works through Division Event participation, but it is now tied to the new two-division format.
• Weekly salary has also been changed.
  • Previously, weekly salary was tied to division membership and old weekly division results. That system no longer fits the new temporary division model.
  • Going forward, weekly salary is based on how many Division Event salaries you claimed during the week.

  • 6 Victory Badges
  • 6b Zeny
  • 6 War Supplies Boxes
  • 250 Division Coins
  • 5% Chance to earn Seal of Honor when claiming Event Salary
• Losing Division:
  • 3 Victory Badges
  • 4b Zeny
  • 3 War Supplies Boxes
  • 175 Division Coins
  • 3% Chance to earn Seal of Honor when claiming Event Salary

Current weekly salary milestones:

• Claim at least 7 Division Event salaries to qualify for weekly salary.
• Higher weekly participation can increase the weekly reward.
• Weekly salary is no longer based on permanent division membership.
   

This means active participation matters more than which division you happened to belong to.

No-Show Strike System

To keep the queue fair, a no-show strike system has been added.

If you queue for a Division Event but do not actually join the event, you may receive a strike.

Strike rules:

• Strikes are tracked by Gepard Device ID.
• Three consecutive no-show strikes will result in a 7-day Division Queue ban.
• Players banned by the strike system cannot queue for Division Events during the ban.
• Players under this ban cannot claim weekly Division salary.

If you queue, please show up. If you cannot participate, withdraw from the queue before it closes. (@ldq, @leavequeue)

Temporary Division Name Tags

Division name tags now reflect your temporary event assignment.

If you are assigned to Vanguard or Sentinel for the current event, you may use the temporary division name tag system through the Division Manager.

The tag is not permanent and only represents your current Division Event assignment.

What This Means for Players

This revamp is meant to make Division Events more competitive, more fair, and easier to run with the current player population.

Instead of spreading players across four permanent divisions, each event will now create two balanced teams on the spot.

This should lead to:

• Better event participation.
• More balanced teams.
• Less one-sided division stacking.
• More meaningful weekly salary participation.
• A cleaner Elite Hero progression system.
   

We are expecting a rough couple of days while we iron out the system. We will continue monitoring the system and may adjust balance, salary values, or event flow if needed. Please report any and all bugs as soon as possible. Bug abuse can lead to permanent ban depending on the severity.

Despite our efforts, we've only managed to receive 50 reviews in the last 180 days. To put that into perspective, during the same 180 days, we've had 2,900 unique devices log into the server.. which means only 1.7% of players have reviewed. In the last 30 days? 890 unique devices have logged in, which means only 5.7% of the players who have logged in the last 30 days have reviewed.

We are not asking for money or donations. We are far from a pay to win server, we are extremely stable and responsible. Can you name another server that has been up for 16 years and not had a wipe? one that still remains populated and continues to innovate? You probably can't.

You choose to spend you time here at BraveRO. You've grinded for hours, days, or even years... So why is it that you find it so difficult to take 5 minutes every 6 months to write a new review for BraveRO? 99% of players do not donate, and that is fine... but at the very least we do expect our players to support us so we can continue to offer a free to play server you can come back to.

It is very discouraging to have to continuously beg for review and getting ignored, while at the same time seeing the players thoroughly enjoy the server completely for free. 

It does not matter how hard the GM team works, how awesome, unique or stable a server is, if new players can't find us. The best way for new players to find us is through Ratemyserver. I would really love to understand why it is so hard for players to support a server they love. Spend hours every day but can't spare 5 minutes every 6 months. It is extremely discouraging. 

I know that this message will more than likely be ignored and will not change anything.. but it will be on record that as an administrator, I did what I could to ensure the future of BraveRO.

@restock lets you create a personal restock list of consumables and automatically refill them from your storage whenever you’re inside a town. No more dragging items one by one or forgetting potions before a fight.

What @restock Does

• Saves a custom list of up to 30 items per character.

• Pulls items directly from your storage to your inventory.

• Only works inside towns.

• Checks weight and slot limits automatically.

• Supports most usable/consumable item types (potions, buffs, etc.).

• Logs activity for security and abuse prevention.

Basic Usage

Typing @restock with no parameters will:

• Compare your inventory with your saved targets.

• Pull the missing quantities from storage.

• Warn you if storage is short or if weight/slots are full.

Command List

Add an Item

Adds a consumable item to your restock list or updates its quantity.
Limits: Quantity must be between 1 and 500.

Remove an Item

Deletes that item from your restock list.

View Your List

Shows all items and target quantities currently saved.

Reset Everything

Clears your entire restock list.

Displays command instructions in-game.

Important Notes

• Town Only: You cannot use @restock in fields, dungeons, or instances.

• Storage Required: Items must exist in your storage to be pulled.

• Weight & Slots: If you’re overweight or out of slots, those items are skipped.

• Item Types: Only supported consumable/usable categories can be added.

You set:

You go PvP, burn through supplies, then return to town and type:

Your character instantly refills missing amounts from storage in one shot.

This command is purely quality-of-life no stat bonuses, no advantages, just less clicking and more playing.

🔥 BG Momentum – Stay Active, Earn More

Every time you complete a Battleground round, the system checks how quickly you re-queue and stay active.

How Momentum Works

• If you play another BG within 15 minutes of your last one, your Momentum Combo increases.

• If you take longer than 15 minutes, the combo resets to 1.

• Starting at Combo x2, you begin earning bonus War Badges.

Momentum Rewards

• Bonus War Badges scale with your combo.

• The more consecutive rounds you play, the higher the bonus.

• Cap: +25 War Badges per round.

• This is in addition to normal BG rewards, which scale based on round duration and whether you win/lose.

Example

• Round 1 → Combo x1 → No bonus yet

• Round 2 within 15 mins of previous → Combo x2 → 6 Bonus War Badges

• Round 3 within 15 mins of previous → Combo x3 → 8 Bonus War Badges

• Round 10 within 15 mins of previous → Combo x3 → 22 Bonus War Badges

• Keep going → Bigger rewards up to the cap of 25 Bonus War Badges (per round)

• After each MVP is killed, the next one spawns 10 seconds later.

• If you die at any point: the run ends immediately, the instance is destroyed, and you must pay again to retry.

• Your completion time is recorded when you defeat the 10th MVP.

• Fastest times rank higher.

• A Top 50 leaderboard is maintained for the current day.

• A historical leaderboard tracks characters with the most 1st-place finishes.

Whenever a player sets a new fastest time for the day, it is broadcast server-wide.

Winners are determined daily at 00:00 server time (when the next day’s MVP list is generated).

Top 3 Fastest Times of the Previous Day Split the Pot:

• If the same character holds multiple top spots, they receive all corresponding shares.

• 20 total pieces per month given for free to 20 unique lucky players (limited by device id)
• Randomly awarded to players who have Max Battleforged Status at the end of the month
• (500 BG games played or purchased within the last 30 days)
• Example, February 28, all players with 500 games played/purchased in the last 30 days will automatically be included in the Raffle.

BraveRO has accumulated thousands of event and limited edition items that are only available for short periods each year. Often times, the GM team receives requests from players that are interested in these items, and up until today.. the discouraging answer has been "No sorry". In an attempt to combat this issue, while at the same time increasing server activity, we have developed the Community Shop system. This system exists to reduce the “missed it, wait a year” problem without devaluing events.

How it works

• Players can submit a request for a low availability item and suggest a price in BraveRO Tokens

• Admin GMs only (level 99+) review these requests

• A request may be approved, denied, or approved at a higher price

• Approval is not instant and may take several days. 

Once approved

• The item becomes available in the Community Shop for 90 days

• Anyone can buy it during that time

• Prices are intentionally higher than market, especially for event items

• After 90 days, the item expires and requires approval again

Dear Brave Adventurers!

This time of year has come again, when we joyfully celebrate the weekends and upcoming holidays with family and friends. This is also the time, of course, for BraveRO to roll out its Christmas & New Year Seasonal Event once again!

As a reminder for both new and veteran players, certain features and NPCs may be added slowly over time for each Phase. For certain Event Items and Currencies, such as Paragon Tickets, Raffle Tickets, Race Points, Seasonal, Points, and Seasonal Festival Tickets, their respective NPCs might be added in later Phases of the event. So, for the meantime, just farm as much event materials, tickets, and points as you can.

Event Duration: October 20, 2025 - November 29, 2025

HUNTING EQUIPMENT

You find GT Agent Nova inside the building at land_prt 56 52. She enlists your aid and gives you your own Ghosttrapper Agent Set (time-limited event item), and a Divine Weapon (time-limited event item).

In order to deal significant damage to the various halloween monsters usually found in hallow_city, you will need to equip the Ghosttrapper Set and Divine Weapon. You can further strengthen your Divine Weapon by talking to the Divine Upgrader (land_prt 66 58). For each upgrading attempt, it will cost 50x Halloween 2025 Coins. You can acquire Halloween 2025 Coins by doing the various activities for this event. You can upgrade your Divine Weapon up to level 10. Once it reaches level 10, it will deal higher damage to the monsters. You also need to equip the Ghosttrapper Mag Glass garment to fully maximize your damage against the monsters. The Ghosttrapper Mag Glass garment is obtainable as the first Attendance Reward.

The monsters drop a bunch of items. Loot and save these items for future phases.

BONFIRE BUFF

It's back! The bonfire from the previous Summer Event is back to grant your character various buffs! You can find the bonfire in land_prt 43 40

GEAR HUNT NPC

Through this NPC, you can select one headgear from a curated list, and then all mobs in easter_fild will have a 0.01% chance to drop your chosen headgear. You can find this NPC in @warp land_prt 53 58.

Note that drop rate boosters will not affect the drop rate of the chosen headgear, and you can only hunt for one headgear at a time. Use the command @gearhunt to check your current gear hunting status.

You can change your target headgear at any time. For example, if you initially chose the Vulcano Wings but later decide you want the Hellfire Bapho Horn, simply return to the Gear Hunting NPC and select the new headgear and pay the required item.

Each headgear selection requires a small payment of Abyss Stones. This fee is non-refundable, even if you do not obtain the headgear from hunting monsters. Abyss Stones drop from the monsters in hallow_city, as well as from Battlegrounds.

OLD HALLOWEEN SHOP

Classic Halloween headgears return! You can exchange your Halloween 2025 Coins for some Halloween-themed headgears. The shop is located in the seasonal event map @warp land_prt 82 49.

Take note that additional headgears may be made available in later phases. So you might want to save up some coins for later use.

DELIVERY TASKBOARD

Using this NPC in @warp land_prt 66 82, you can exchange your loots into various different items, which may include Halloween 2025 Coins.

This board's tasks refreshes every hour (server time).

INVASION RACE - SOLO VERSION

Race Schedule. These times are based on server time. Use @time to check the current server time.

Approximately every 3 hours, monsters from another dimension will invade Hallow City and another random city. The attack on another city will be announced few minutes after the first invasion. Dimensional monsters give seasonal points. Players can choose to participate in whichever city they prefer. The top agents in each city will receive rewards after 1 hour. You can use the command @raid to check your current kills for each city, as well as the active buff for the current race.

MIMIC HUNT

Schedule (Server Time): 03:14 | 09:14 | 15:14 | 21:14

A massive horde of Mimics will invade Hallow City at specific times, offering a chance to earn tons of valuable rewards, including tokens, tickets, and EXP crystals! Each Mimic Hunt will last approximately 45 minutes.

UNHOLY SHOAL

This fishing shoal is available along the seasonal map’s waters around @warp land_prt 37 38. This shoal grants a +30 Raw Fishing Power bonus, +20 Attraction bonus, and +5 Fetch bonus. It also features permanent night mode, allowing you to catch nocturnal fish at any time.

You can exchange 200x of each Bloody Murderer's Knife Fragment and Alice Old Apron, and turn them into Costume Garment Bloody Murderer's Knife and Costume Garment Alice Broom respectively. The fragments and apron drop from the monsters found in hallow_city.

The exchange NPCs (Bloody Murderer, and Alice) can be land_prt 78 43. These are the same costume garments from the Halloween 2024 Event. As of this event, they have been granted with bonus Ghosttrapping stats. Take note that these costume garments' Ghosttrapping stats does not stack with the Ghosttrapper Mag Glass garment.

In an effort to improve communication and community interactions, we have upgraded our forum engine from MyBb to Invision Power boards. This new forum has a much sleeker feel, better mobile navigation, new features, and more social.

These powerful Battleforged Equipment are aimed at BraveRO players who actively participate in Battlegrounds (BG). These items scale in strength based on your recent BG game participation, rewarding consistent commitment and competitive effort. 

The purpose of these items is to encourage sustainable activity in Battlegrounds and BraveRO as a whole. At the moment, there are only accessories available. However, in the future, there will be other equipment that will share the Battleground Game count and will scale along with these accessories.

Although these equipment are called Battleforged, they can be used outside of Battlegrounds.

EVENT DURATION

This event will run from April 1, 2025 until May 9, 2025.

EVENT EQUIPMENT

You find the inconspicuous Professor Coke, a biologist specializing in rare and unknown creatures. He needs your help in investigating Easter Field. Somehow, a massive rift appeared out of nowhere, and from it emerged creatures unlike anything seen in Midgard! He enlists your aid to gather as much information as you can from these creatures.

The professor enlists your aid and gives you your own Palbeast Trainer Set, and a Divine Weapon (these items have a time limit of 45-days).

Once you're set, you can enter Easter Field by talking to Professor Coke, or warping directly to Easter Field (@warp easter_fild).

In order to deal significant damage to the various monsters you find inside Easter Field, you will need to equip the Palbeast Trainer Set and Divine Weapon. You can further strengthen your Divine Weapon by talking to the Divine Smith (@warp easter_fild 58 362). For each upgrading attempt, it will cost 100x Rift Coins. You can acquire Rift Coins by doing the various activities for this event. You can upgrade your Divine Weapon up to level 10. Once it reaches level 10, it will deal higher damage to the monsters.

At the very least, you should wear the weapon, the Cap and the Drones. These items contribute damage in terms of HP% against monsters inside Easter Field. Wear these three to deal maximum damage.

The monsters drop a bunch of items. Loot and save these items for future phases.

COMPENDIUM: EMBERS & TIDES

This Easter, the Ember and Tides Compendium has been added. The levels of of this compendium will be increased with each phase. As with the previous compendiums, you will need to level up both facets, Aqua (PvE), and Flame (PvP) through various in-game features. You can get your own Ember and Tides Compendium Book in Easter Field (@warp easter_fild 66 352). For Phase 1, the maximum compendium level is 50. You can open your compendium book to check the rewards for Aqua, Flame, and the Premium Rewards.

COMPENDIUM EXP SOURCES

COMPENDIUM DAILY QUEST

You need to kill 200 of a specified monster to complete your Compendium Daily Quest. You can access this Quest by opening your Compendium Book and selecting the Daily Quest option. Take note that this can be taken only once per day. Rewards include 5x Draconic Pal Coins, 250x Aqua Compendium EXP, and additional Zeny and items.

PREMIUM COMPENDIUM REWARDS

Premium Rewards can be accessed via the Compendium. You can unlock it by paying either 2,500x 1B Zeny Bags or 150x Donation Tokens. Take note that the level of your premium rewards will depend on your PvE and PvP facet levels. The level will be the lower of either PvE or PvP facet. For example, if your PvE facet is level 20, but your PvP facet is still level 13, your Premium Reward level will be 13.

SEALED PALBEAST TREASURE BOX

• You can claim these Sealed Palbeast Treasure Boxes via your Compendium.
  
• You will need an Ember and Tides Treasure Key to open 1 Sealed Treasure Box.
  
• The maximum amount of Sealed Compendium Boxes that you can acquire from your Compendium is equal to the lowest level of both of your PVE and PVE Facet Levels. If your current Facet Level is 5 and your current PVP Facet Level is 20, the maximum number of boxes that you can claim is 5. If your PVE Facet Level increases to 10 later on, you can acquire an additional 5 boxes.
  
• Sealed Palbeast Treasure Boxes are tradable. The Ember and Tides Treasure Keys are tradable as well. Thus, you can sell your boxes to players if you don't have enough keys to open them.
  
• You can open as many Sealed Palbeast Treasure Boxes as you want, as long that you have enough keys.
  

DAILY ATTENDANCE

SUSHI KITCHEN CAR

For those of you who are looking for an item with a similar effect to the Bloody Valentine Aura, you can obtain the Sushi Kitchen Car from Battlegrounds with a small chance. However, you need at least a 3-win streak in Battlegrounds to have a chance to get it, so it's not guaranteed. 

GEAR HUNTING NPC

• Vanilla Enchanter (easter_fild 77 354) - allows you to enchant Vanilla Headgears, especially Easter-exclusive ones. The first time enchant for a vanilla's slot is also free this time around.
  
• Artifact Enchanter (easter_fild 89 371) - allows you to enchant your Artifact of Trial with a random Physical or Magic enchants using a certain seasonal event item along with Zeny Bags.
  
• Temporal Enchanter (easter_fild 94 371) - allows you to enchant Sleipnirs (normal only) and Temporal Boots (normal and modified).
  
• Temporal Resetter (easter_fild 99 374) - Resetting the enchants of your Temporal Boots will require 999x Lotus Petals
  
• Old Easter Headgears Shop (easter_fild 72 351) - This shop, as the name says, sells Easter headgears from previous events.
  

GOLDEN MVP HEADGEARS

EVENT AQUA SHOAL

This shoal is a professional level shoal. Not for newbies.

Introducing the Aqua Shoals — a mysterious new fishing hotspot, much like the Abyssal Shoals, but with a twist:

No map announcements  where is it in the map. No hints. You’ll need to explore the Easter Field and search wherever there’s water to find it. You can check the current ranking at easter_fild 56 338 Fish board.

What Makes Aqua Shoals Special?

Aqua Shoals are the natural habitat of Pal Beasts, meaning most sea creatures you’ll catch here are Pal Beasts. Unlike other fishing spots, the size and weight of the fish matter here more than ever:

Fish Size = Stamina: Bigger fish have higher stamina, making them harder to reel in. Smaller fish are easier because they have lower stamina.

Size Affects Loot Chance: Larger catches give you a better chance at obtaining a new rare item — the Captain’s Antiquity. Open it to receive random rewards!

INVASION HUNTING RACE

Every 3 hours, a hunting race will begin inside Easter Field. Yellow Rats have come to steal easter eggs! So you have to stop them! You will have to kill as many rats as you can in the first round. For the second round, because you have save the easter eggs, you now get the chance to take them for yourselves. The mobs for both rounds also have the added chance to drop some items like Raffle Tickets, Paragon Tickets, Zeny Bags, etc. Each round will last 30 minutes each. Use the command @ee or @easter to check your current points for each round. The top 5 players per round will win race points and some items. Take note that only the top 3 are announced globally.

• Round 1 - Kill as many Yellow Rats as you can and earn points. Each rat has a different point, ranging from 1 to 5 points each. The point per rat is indicated in its name. 
  
• Round 2 - Almost the same as Round 1, except this time, you're hunting eggs. The points, instead of being indicated in the names, are given at random. 
  

Take note that the points given by the rats and eggs is not the same as the seasonal points that you're getting (shown in chat window). The points for the race will only last for the duration of the race and will be the ones to be used to determine the players' rank.

World Boss Participation Token

• This new item will be scattered around the map after the raid boss is killed. It is account-bound and can be collected to exchange for some COMMON materials — basically a small compensation for participating in the World Boss Raid in case your party failed to get it.
  
• Please be reminded that using multiple accounts during the boss raid to obtain these rewards is still prohibited and may result in a ban.
  
• You can exchange your World Raid Participation Tokens via the shop located at easter_fild 45 345. The shop contains mostly common items. Consider it a small compensation for joining the Raid.

The Embers & Tides Event Finale will be held on May 3, 2025. This usually happens around 07:00 (server time) or before/after the of War of Emperium scheduled for that day, whichever is applicable. The Event Finale will feature the release of rare headgears, as well as the Raffle NPC. Game Masters (GM) will also hold various special in-game events. Winners of these events will win prizes!

Since the Finale marks the end of the event, when the Event Finale begins, a bunch of stuff may be disabled which may include but not limited to the following:

• Event monsters inside event maps will no longer drop items.
  
• Raid Bosses will be disabled
  
• Disabling of earning of Tokens and other event currencies/items from features.
  
• Other exact details will be unveiled once we reach this phase.
  

Additionally, starting May 4, 2025, some or all event NPCs will be removed or slowly removed over time.

Various giftcodes might be posted from time to time in BraveRO's Discord Server, under the Giftcodes channel. You can use these giftcodes by talking to the Gift Code NPC in Caspen [caspen 179 188]. A little history:

Between 2007 and 2022 we used to have a double credits promotion for any amount over 40$. That meant, if you donated 25$ you would receive 25 credits. If you donated 50$ you would receive 100 credits. Fast forward to late 2022, when DreamerRO became BraveRO, we drastically increased the amount of credits per USD.. whereas instead of 2x credits, you could get from 4x to even 9x (and more recently 12x). Donating 25$ awards 125 credits instead of 25 credits, and donating 200$ awards 1,800 credits instead of 400.. and that is without mentioning the additional freebies for each donation tier. This was a conscious effort to make donating more affordable, at a time when everything in the real world is getting more expensive.. However, we recognize we may have overdone it, and have decided to tone it down a bit. Considering our history, it's easy to see that even the new donation rewards are extremely rewarding in comparison to how they were in the past, and we hope our players are still happy and grateful for that.

Why donating is important:

Donating towards the server helps us pay for various services such as DDoS protected dedicated servers with 24/7 uptime for the game server as well as a separate one for the website. Additionally, it helps pay for high performance international proxies to provide a smooth gameplay for most players around the world. It allows us to purchase features and add-ons from external vendors, such as Gepard Shield, custom sprites, maps, auras package, etc. Last but not least, it allows us to advertise heavily in the front page of Ratemyserver and have sponsor banners on the topsites. Without a constant stream of donations, the server wouldnt be able to keep up with advertising efforts, or maintain the high end dedicated servers that host our game.
