any ideas on cause or a fix? aside from relogging

Not sure what causes this but I think this is more common on players who uses newer graphic cards, might be able to fix it by tinkering with your setup.exe but I am not sure how to do it specifically.

you can use /lightmap to disable lightmap. It will remove the lightmap that causes it.
